For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart – Hebrews 4:12 NASB

The King James Version says from our main scripture above, “the word of God is quick”, meaning it is living, it gives life, it is quickening – life giving it is. The word of God in the written pages of the bible does nothing for you when it’s lying idle there. You have to get it into your heart, until then nothing happens.

Once the word of God is in your heart it brings with it the life of God, the very same nature and life that makes God to be God – it is called “the resurrection life” or “eternal life”. This is the same life that Jesus brought to us after He arose from the dead. 1 John 1:2-3, says this life has been manifested unto us through fellowship with the Father and His son Jesus Christ. As a matter of fact Ephesians 5:30 says, “We are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones”, we are one with Him.

Right there in the quarters of your heart, the word can and will give you life. No sickness or disease can stay in your body because this life won’t allow any other foreigner to dwell in your body side-by-side. This means sickness cannot lord it over you – sickness cannot be your lord but Jesus Christ is.

Your life is a blessed life because of the mere fact that God lives in you and He is alive in you today. The same life that is in the vine (Jesus) is the same life that is in the branches (us the believers).

Let this revelation dawn on your heart and you will realize that you are not supposed to be sick because Jesus was never sick. If peradventure you were already sick; command the sickness and its pain to leave right now in the name of Jesus and you will be free once more again.

Ever since I got this revelation I don’t get sick nor encounter pain in my body. If I begin to feel pain, I have the audacity and right to rebuke it based on the understanding that; God lives in me.

God lives in you so begin to live like it and act like it and live a glorious life.
